    Gunsmithing Stuck trigger pins

    I am trying to install a trigger in a Surgeon 591 action and the 2 pins that hold the trigger in will not punch out. I have never had this issue before with other actions. Is there something unique about the Surgeon 591 action or am I just lucky and have 2 stuck pins? Thanks.

    trigger and bottom metal

    Will the Timney 510 trigger (standard trigger with safety for the Rem 700) fit through Badger M5 bottom metal? My concern is that the trigger shoe is too wide for the opening of the bottom metal. Thanks.

    Re: Oppinions Wanted Also consider Warne bases. I have used them on a couple of rifles and never had an issue. Depending on the type of long range shooting you are going to do, more magnification will be a real asset.
