    Desert Tech MDR Opinions?

    I want to love it but it is turning into more of a range toy/novelty here. Lot's of tinkering and fixes to get it to run. I am awaiting the gen3/4 gas plug and hoping that helps a bit. Recoil is a bit stout compared to my ar-10s. I am curious how it runs on .223 once I have the conversion.

    My last F1 was a six day turn which blew my mind. I think having everything already digital (minus the prints) speeds up the process tremendously as most everything is in one package and payment is linked.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Knife for Car

    As stated above a Mora is a great cheap option which fits the bill of a solid utility knife. I like to keep it cheap as things in cars tend to get lost or walk away. Only other thing I suggest in addition is a leatherman or other multitool.

    Suppressors Magpul Suppressor Cover?

    I had one for all of a day and returned it to my LGS. The weight of it completely offset the balance of my rifle and counteracted the low weight of my can. Might work great but too heavy and cumbersome. Lots of stuff to rattle apart.

    AR 308 receiver - what's the best?

    The Aero sets are a great deal for the price. I also really like Mega(now Zev) and the fit and finish is great. Also the Seekins builders sets are pretty nice but you are stepping up a bit on the price ladder.

    Suppressors Suppressor cleaning/maintenance?

    On rifle cans, the high velocity rounds and associated pressure blows out most of the fouling. It's pretty much self cleaning.
