See what your county got from the military

Looks like my county took in an entire gym and about 15 pages of RIFLE,7.62 MILLIMETER, RIFLE,5.56 MILLIMETER. Any idea what this might be: GUNS, THROUGH 30MM 1 Pair $200.00 8/20/2012

If it wasn't for all of the Tactical everything, how would the mall ninjas on ARFCOM survive?

Limited Edition Sniper's Hide Data Books from IDB

My new book came in last week. It was just what i was looking for and so much better than my cobbled together notes. Thanks for making my range trips a little easier.

    Most reliable 22 LR pistol

MK II and MK III have both been a mainstay of my stable for years and I love them. If I could find a decent stainless MK II government I would jump all over it. The availability of aftermarket upgrades really sweetens the deal although my stock bull barrel still shoots like a laser and is...

I need advice on a rifle for a 7 year old

Go with a Marlin Buckaroo or 915 youth. Purely single shot and has a chamber that is designed for easy feeding. I started with one when I was five and it lasted me for a lot of years and even more dead critters/cans/paper soldiers. I agree on current Marlin being sub-par at best but if you...

    New from Ohio

I have been lurking on here for a few years but just recently started to post. Thanks for a great forum and a fantastic information resource. I have been a shooter all of my life and have recently caught the custom rifle bug. Now it is trying to find trigger time and distance in Central Ohio.

Rifle Scopes Sport Optics.com Great experience

I have to say the guys at SportOptics.com are top notch when it comes to customer service. Ordered a demo NightForce from them at a great price. Within minutes of placing my order I received the "call us regarding your order" email. Apparently inventory on the site was out of whack and my...

    Suppressors Form 1 Approval... 1 1/2 months!!!

    Training rifle

Good luck finding one these days! Some time ago I was searching for one out of nostalgia and they are more rare than hens teeth. I don't think anyone gives them up anymore and it seems marlin hasn't produced the single shot youth model in an age. I think I shot mine daily for about 5 years...

Where to start with a spotting scope?

I agree with you on Binos to a point. Field of view is awesome but I have noticed some heavy eye fatigue after a long session on the range. Regardless of this, i do find myself using them more and more due to lighter weight and less crap to haul out to the range when shooting alone.

    Training rifle

I think you are right on the full sized being a bit too much to handle. I need to go through the cabinet back home a dig out the Marlin buckaroo I shot when I first started at 5. I like the single shot capacity with the bolt action and iron sights. I should have thought of this in the first...

    Training rifle

So I am working on a training rifle for my 9 year old daughter. She is familiar with the fundamentals and it is time to move into a bigger platform from the pellet gun and squirrel rifle. Any opinions on the SAVAGE MARK II FV-SR, 22LR, 16.5" THREADED BARREL. It is cheap but I don't want to buy...

    Suppressors Aac 762-sd

I bought the sdn6 as my first modular jack of all trades can. It is ok across the board but not great. The weight can throw off impact depending on barrel length. If I had it to do over again I would have gone with silencerco as I love their cans on my pistols

Suppressors How long was your suppressor approval

Last bone stock used one I saw sat at 1700 for a decent amount of time before dropping to 1550. Your extras make it a much better package depending on the optics

Lessons From Recent Build! Mega Maten .308

Agree with you 100% on the Troy. I had a bitch of a time getting it to lock up tight. Even after locktite it backed out a bit after a long range session. I will need to try tapping it in as suggested to seat it.
