    Re: AK SBR Can I'm satisfied with my Delta P Brevis 7.62x39mm silencer on a 16" AK. It's for 24mm threads though. An AK silences pretty well compared to other semi-autos in my limited experience.

    Re: Changing stocks to accomodate new scope... What mount are you using with the D740? I just got a Wilson Combat Accu-Rizer D740 Mount and it mounts the scope low enough to get a pretty good cheek-weld with the CAR stock.

    Re: Help mounting a D740 on a AIAW? Replacing the the shuttered eye cup with a Butler Creek #30 scope cover will give you several more inches of eye relief. But it does make the green glow around your eye visible to others.

    Anybody know how the Uni-IR compares to the ITAL Class 1? I can't find any specs on it. Is it suppossed to be water-resistant/waterproof? What is the dot size? Is it suitable for 100-150 yard hunting?

    Rifle Scopes SS 10x42 turret knobs working loose

    The set screws holding the turret knobs on my 2-month old SWFA SS 10x42 scope are loosening from recoil. My first thought is to use medium-strength loc-tite on the screws. Is there any problem with that, or does anybody have a better solution (aside from buying a USO 10x ?

    Re: Need Krylon Paint Help Please! Krylon will work. It will rub off of the corners and sharp edges but it's easy to touch up again. I use WD-40 as a cleaning solvent on my painted guns and it doesn't remove the paint.
