    I wouldn't do it. I don't think it will yield any significant improvements or changes, but will definitely create a major hassle if you want to remove it.

    I've generally found the AR platform to be relatively tolerant to slight mismatches. I bet it will run okay, and would go ahead and try it as long as it doesn't void any warranties or returns.

    AR Trigger problem

    Did you build this ar-15 yourself, and how many rounds have had through it? If it's a new build, maybe a spring was installed incorrectly. If it came prebuilt from the factory like that, give the ar-15 company a call.
