    Gunsmithing will this action work or not?

    I have a Remington 700 action from a LTR 308. I am looking at building it up as a 7mm WSM or a 300 WSM. I know I would have to get a new bolt but will the action work or are the magnum actions heavier and wider then the standard calibers?

    Re: 5R or LTR One more thing I forgot to mention.....After you buy the 5R...get 175 sierra HPBT's loaded to 2.800 and 43 to 44.5 of Varget. And shoot the hell out of it.....Mine likes 43.5 of Varget.

    Military guys need your help

    bought some military ammo for my 308 marked LC on the head. it was belted and had tracers. Would you shoot it out of your guns or not? I will prolly not shoot the tracers but the other stuff what do you think?
