    Re: 6.5x47 lapua build 8 twist is what I would stick with. Any of the current barrel makers, Rock, Krieger, Obermeyer, Brux, Lilja... cant name em all but you wont go wrong with any of them! I have a shilen on mine, I won it so cant complain.

    Re: range finder for prairie dogs When we shoot pdogs, we range off of mounds, trees, cactus, schrubs, ranch debris etc. After 20 minutes we have land marks noted and don't use a range finder anymore.
