wouldn't think that would be too tough to have done.....spray the black....partial cure....spray the blue....partial cure....wipe the blue off the high areas....full cure
Can't say on the comparison with the 208, but I do run the 215's in a 28" barrel 300WM with 75gr H1000 at 2970fps with 1/10 twist. Accuracy is amazing and they seem to fly a little better than the stated BC would indicate.
I've got a long throated 300WM that shoots 215gr Bergers at 2970fps. 28" barrel and quite the tack driver. Using Win brass, Win Mag Primers, H1000. COAL about 3.7" Brass is on it's 9th firing so far and going strong.
I've been doing similar to this with my suppressor. I've been shimming/timing my suppressor in Increments of .003 out to one full rotation (.042). The results have been very enlightening!!!!
