    Loading once fired crimped brass

Re: Loading once fired crimped brass With the Wilson case prep tool there is a little milling tool that cuts out the crimped material. Makes a very nice tight hole for the primer.

Range Report 168 vs 175 VLD

Some time ago I read that on the average a 168 would probably be more accurate up to 500 to 600 yards and the 175 would then become more accurate. Any thought on that subject? JesseBB

    AICS 2.0 or Mcmillan A4

Re: AICS 2.0 or Mcmillan A4 I bought the McMillan LH A5 to shoot tac games here in Sacramento. Then I discovered that many games require more than five rounds during timed events. By the time I paid to have the rifle bedded, bought the magazine kit and paid someone to install it, it would...

Rifle Scopes New USOptics on Mak (Pics)

Re: New USOptics on Mak (Pics) It certanly is a beautiful scope. However, I wonder why so many are showing up for sale? Maybe it's the economy. I haven't had the opportinuty to look through a USO unit. I have a NF with 4 inches of relief. Is the 3.5 inches of relief O.K.?

Re: Single Stage Press Advice I have the Forrester but the lever will not let you use the very long expensive competition dies. You are kind of stuck with standard dies.

Re: Is there anywhere I can buy match rifle primers? Not too sure when the demand will let up but I just bit the bullet and bought them off GunBroker. I had to pay $65 for smal rifle match and a little more for large rifle.

    Removing Moly from Bullets?

Re: Removing Moly from Bullets? I have several partial boxes of 75 and 77 grain molly bullets and I have the RCBS vibration machine. If I put these bullets in and the molly comes off then I assume the walnut will be contaminated with the molly and should be thrown away?

Need reloading data for .308 using RL-15

Re: Need reloading data for .308 using RL-15 I have heard that the Sierra 168s were more accurate at 600 than their 175s were. Do most Tacitical competitors us one load out to 600 and then change to another for longer ranges?

Why do 168s get no love for 1000 yds?

Re: Why do 168s get no love for 1000 yds? It would appear that the U.S. Military establishment is aware of the short-commings of the 30 caliber 175 LR ammo for distances beyone 800 meters and that is why there are other larger caliber weapons are in our inventory. (.338 anyone)

    Korean M1 Rifles

Re: Korean M1 Rifles I've often heard that Korea was making parts for the Garand. Now that may or maynot be true but I would look those rifles over very carefully for knock off parts.
