Re: Want to build Custom 10-22 help I built my 10/22 from the ground up a few years ago and spent more than I probably needed to. Here are the MOST important upgrades, in their order of importance IMO. 1.) Trigger!! The stock Ruger triggrt is abysmal. You can either buy a new Kidd, or there...

    Depriming LC brass

Re: Depriming LC brass Big plus for the LC "Match" brass. It's not crimped. The same goes for the later LC "LR" brass. It costs a bit more, but you don't have the issues with crimped primers and it's pretty much guaranteed that it's not been fired through a machine gun. I shoot it...

    Gunsmithing ACOG for L1A1

Hello all, I have an Enfield L1A1 rifle that I would love to mount an ACOG on, but the way the topcover on the receiver is built, it's not really feasible to mount one in any relaible fashion. Does anyone know if a modification exists to mount one? I welcome any feedback. Regards, Mike

    .357 Powder

Re: .357 Powder To all those that said 296, I agree. It's relatively clean and measures out very uniformly, and is good for most of the warm/hot .357 loading applications.

    Feedback Good Guy List

Re: Good Guy List HOOPER! I ordered one of the Mini-14's he had for sale, it was better than advertised. Gun had handling marks just as he said, but the innards are hard to tell from new. I would definitely do business with him again. Thanks Hooper!

Re: Velocity loss for 20" , 25-06 barrel Based on several sources I have read from over the years, muzzle velocity loss on the "Varmint" rifles (What I call .25 cal and under) is approximately 50fps per inch of barrel length from 26 to 20 inches, more from 20 to 18. Never tried it...
