    PVS- 7s may be dated but the 3rd gen sure work well. If you go with PVS 14s you really need two, which is what the military has gone with now such as the PVS 30 etc.

    224V vs. 6mm ARC 0-600y 18"-20" barrel?

    I would suggest a look at the .22 Nosler. Way faster then a .224v with 77gr and lighter bullets.
