    Bolt vs Semi accuracy groups.

    I thought I was the only one that had this "pet peeve!" I never understood why a small five shot group where all the shots missed was acceptable. Why not just dial the scope so that the group hits the target? Essentially all these folks are getting are five misses which happen to be in a group.

    Larue OBR or JP LRP 07....

    I've had the GAP 10 and now have the LRP 07. Fit and finish, accuracy, ease of use all go to the JP LRP 07. Plus you get the side charge feature which is really nice if you're going to mount a scope..

    I'm getting 2750 fps out my LRP 07 with a 22" barrel with 140 grn VLD's h4350. By the way I've had both the GAP 10 and the now the LRP 07 and I think the JP is better made and I love the side charge.

    Anyone shoot a JP 22" 6.5 Creedmoor Barrel on their gasser?

    I have the LRP 07, 22" barrel in 6.5 creedmoor and it's more accurate than my custom GAP bolt gun! Unbelievable workmanship and attention to detail... Best rifle I've ever owned.

    The rifle has very little recoil, it weighs about 15 pounds with the scope. The barrel is not getting hot. It's 1.25 at the lug and .875 at the muzzel. It's fluted as well. I really think it just doesn't like the Hornaday ammo. I'm going to try this load. 140 grn VLD's, 42.5 grns of H4350, CCI...

    I think I'm going to go with some of the recipes I've found in the reloading section. I think my rifle just doesn't like Factory Hornaday ammo. And to clarify, I meant to say I "will" be trying to work up a load. Sorry for the confusion.
