    Went to the bone doc today and were told to get rid of the brace and start walking. No walker, no chair, get your ass up and go. That's pretty much all the prompting he needed. Surgery to remove plate and screws is scheduled for Dec 21 and will be out patient. Thanks for all the prayers guys...

    Re: Everyday boots. You're on the right track with Danner. I use wear the Elk Ridge for daily use and the Canadian for hunting. I also wear either Acadia's or Ft. Lewis on duty. They are the ony boots with laces that I'll spend my money on. Patrick
