    What safe are you using?

Re: What safe are you using? 22x40 Canon from Academy. Yes, it has sheetrock for insulation. Rule #1, if possible, don't have your safe near potential hotspots in your house (near furnace/kitchen). Perhaps in the outermost corner of your home. I know I'm only VFD, but when the firetruck...

New here, my new 700P, and my home install knob

Re: New here, my new 700P, and my home install knob I am no John Wayne by any means, so please confirm with the shooting gods first, but IMHO your money might be better spent on a trigger job rather than a rear monopod if your new rifle doesn't have one already. If this is the case, romping...

    Rifle Scopes NF NPR1 reticle

Re: NF NPR1 reticle We had a stage at LRA last weekend that had 4? UKD targets and we were given 60 or 90 seconds to get down and range, time called, and then individually got down in 60 seconds to engage 1 or 2 rounds, I can't remember. They were 8", 10", and 12" steel circles and...

PACT Digital Precision Powder Dispenser and Scale.

Re: PACT Digital Precision Powder Dispenser and Scale. I have one and have been happy with it compared to previously using a Lyman autoscale. I have seen first hand, it is noticably slower than the RCBS system. A few months back the scale quit talking to the dispenser (tested with another...

How do you do it in the south???

Re: How do you do it in the south??? You get used to it. On a good day at work we might cut 1000-1400 ft. of line through the woods with a bank blade. I usually fill my 3L camelbak up 2-3 times in a day, after that the heat is more of a mental thing. You just have to block it out and find...

    Gunsmithing Need a A5 inlet

Re: Need a A5 inlet I just sent my A5 to McMillan for a Surgeon DBM inlet about a week ago. it was $51 for the inlet and $25 to ship it back. They said since it was an A5 that they run those pretty regularly. Hopefully it'll be back soon. Now to find someone to bed the DBM.

    Gunsmithing Curios and Relics FFL?

    Gunsmithing Curios and Relics FFL?

Am I missing something or could I apply for a C&R FFL for my personal collection for $30? I don't plan on buying and selling for profit, but it's dang aggravating finding someone with an FFL to order a rifle when it has to be shipped. Would this suffice for ordering actions/recievers directly...
