Which is best overall, neck down from .308 or neck up from .243? Pros and cons of each,,,comments.

TRG Light Primer Strike

I have a new TRG 22 .308 that has an occasional misfire due to a light primer strike. I can tell that the strike is light by the sound. I have read when this happens, that the 2nd stage of the trigger is set to low. Other ideals or comments?

TRG 22 Outside Barrel Diameter?

Is the barrel OD the same on the TRG22 & TRG42? I want to install a surefire muzzle brake on a 22, but Surefire only list one for the 42. I do know the threads are the same at 18x1.

I have a 5R and an XM3 and both have inconsistent trigger pull. About every 6 to 8th pull will be very heavy. It seems that opening and re-closing the bolt some times helps. Also re engaging the safety seems to have the same affect. They both are stock adjustable triggers set at about 3lbs.

I'm not feeling any clicks when I turn the turrets. I don't believe the reticle is moving. How far should the point of impact move with one complete revolution at 100yds?
