    I went with 308. I was going for a lightweight hunting rifle but I couldn’t keep it under 10 lbs. It is lighter than my other 308 but that wasn’t hard to do! I don’t currently have a chronograph but will need one at some point.

    The receiver is stock, I ordered the shouldered barrel and recoil lug from carbonsix in October 4th and received it today. The company had great communication and returned both of my calls within 15 minutes. Super nice and helpful.

    Best single stage trigger options

    I have cmc single stage curved, Geissele g2s, and ssa-e. I really like the cmc single stage for a “fighting rifle” and use it on three AR’s currently. The ssa-e is my favorite precision AR trigger that I’ve used.
