    Affordable tripod?

    The PIG0311 is a great value IMO. I have a PIG Saddle on top of a Sunwayfoto ball and I'm totally satisfied with it. For how often I shoot off of a tripod I just can't justify dropping the coin for RRS legs.

    I have straight blade triggers in almost all my guns. I prefer the feel over a curved blade and I think that my pull is more consistent. But I've been using them for over a decade at this point so it's tough to gauge how much it helps if at all.

    RRS vs something 1/4 the cost

    I bought the PIG0311 and PIG Saddle last year and it's a great combo for less than $300. I'm planning on adding a ball head at some point, but since I've yet to find a match where I can use it my shooting budget is going elsewhere for the time being.
