    I have not been able to compare it to a 3k in fact I’ve never used one. You can definitely range trees at a grand with this unit however I do it standing free hand.

    I'm in AZ which is notoriously hard on LRF's. Daytime Full Sun. Juniper trees 1200 yards reliably and further but not 1st time hit, Antelope was easy at 750 first hit every time. Rock walls I can get at 1K or so +/- if it is in full sun etc. and way further if its not 100* mirage full sun...

    With FG215M primers in my TL3 I get the same cratering on very low loads. Factory ammo does it too, I’m not worried.

    For those with a mil 4-32, 2 questions. 1 does the windage knob have a max adjustment limiter so you can’t get lost in revs? 2 how much adjustment if so, do you get on the windage? Thanks!

    Vortex Razor HD 4000

    I have a 4K and a buddy brought out his vortex 4000. It’s reticle is much larger, but glass is much clearer and in ELR it was hitting 2200 yards my 4K in those conditions couldn’t. Overall it seems better built than my 4K and it ranges further.

    Today ran 77.5, 78.0 and 78.5 with 215 Bergers 0.02” off HORNADY brass FGM215M primers. Got 2896,2905, and 2949 FPS. Low and high made 1/2 moa or better
