    Anyone else see some parallels in the coverage of the recent floods in Texas. First their is the story of the Austin fire chief who refused requests to send help. But it's hard to cover that story because everyone is talking about the hero coastguard rescue swimmer who saved 165 people.

    Well that's not exactly funny, but it's a good example of people proving their loyalty to a poser. Self delusion can be hard to break out of. Personally I'm embarrassed to admit I believed Chris Kyle over Jessy Ventura for a long time.

    If your eyes aren't perfect the reticle of the razor gen 3 gets real thin for hunting. Maybe cranking the illumination up will make it easy enough to find, but it would not be my first choice were rapid target finding important.

    What kills new pilots is the the pressure to be somewhere at a certain time. Flying for sightseeing in the area local to you can be safe. But using a plane for transportation to matches can easily lead to errors dealing with weather or mechanical issues that lead to crashes.
