    Off Center Flash Holes

    I was uniforming some primer pockets on 5.56 LC brass, and noticed that a few of the flash holes, were way off of center. Anything to worry about or just load'em?

    Re: annealing Yeah, that's WAY too damn hot. My cases dont even begin to glow. I have heated a case that hot before just to see how "soft" the brass gets, then destroyed it by crushing. Not safe at all. I bet his case necks are easily getting heated to 1000*.

    Re: Why not bed the lug completely on a 700? You can bed them, just put 2 layers of tape on the front (muzzle) end, and sides of the lug. Provides enough clearance to pop right out.

    Re: DPMS AR-15 break-in? I shot 200 rounds through mine before I even touched in the inside of the barrel. THen all it got was some wipeout accelerator, and then the foam, 45 mins, and 5 patches. Lube'er up and shoot, clean later.

    Re: Bill Springfield trigger job on AR-10 54 for the three pound option, and yes Bill does do excellent work! Made my stock trigger, WAY smoother, no creep, and breaks like glass!
