    Accuracy International Magazine Pouches...

I have a Kydex and it is the best I've used so far. Just make sure you figure out what side you want it on, and bullets forward or backward. I am a Right handed shooter, and I have it on the left with bullets forward. J

    Any R.E.P.R.Fans ?

I did in the beginning, after my first range trip, I couldn't turn the gas block knob. I just drove out the pin, disassembled it, ran it through my friends ultrasonic cleaner, lubed the unit and reinstalled. It spins freely ever since. Solid rifle, and would never trade it. Can't see buying a...

    Any R.E.P.R.Fans ?

I have over 1500 rounds through my 18" REPR, and have run it suppressed most of the time. While it isn't benchrest gun accurate, I can live with it's 1 MOA. I have had groups shoot better. A 762 semi is a challenge to shoot, especially all day. I bought it for reliability, and it has ran...

    M1 Garand Reloading

I shot plenty of 06 in the Garand for Highpower back in the 80's. We ran IMR 4895 for all yardages. 150 grain for 200, 168's for 300, and 600. I'd start there. Best of luck, J

Rifle Scopes USMC 10X scope on EBay

The person that has it listed, does not give much info on it. I am not knowledgable at all on that scope. I would love to be in a financial position to have a real one with history. Hell I feel lucky to own a Razor! But have seen the go for 10K! J

    Another barrel life/replacement question

I don't know anyone shooting a 338 Lapua in comps. 300 win mag is the heavy end, but a 6xc out a 6.5x47/260 would be a better choice. IMO J

Anyone have any experience with pulled SMK'S

I run pulled 175 SMK 's in my REPR, can't tell out to 600 yards shooting steel under field conditions. I get an unexplained flyer once in a while in my bolt gun. I now run only 175's from the big green box for my bolt. J

Thumler's tumbler mods post your pics

I made a clear acrylic lid for my tumbler, didn't take into account the length of threads. 3/8" is too thick, so I went with a 3/16" one and it did not seal. I can live with the gasket and steel lid for now. J

What bore guide for R700 .308

Using one is more important than which one. Get a Dewey, or a Sinclair, but if your like me, and want the best, have Mr. Lucas make you one. Best that money can buy, period. J

    Lake City 7.62 brass quality

Lake City 7.62 Match or LR is great stuff for a semi auto. If your shooting a bolt, use Winchester or Lapua. That's just me tho, J

    swage vs chamfer primer pocket

I chamfer, I had the Dillon super swager, and like has already been said, takes too long. Just don't over do it. Accuracy is the same. Whoever told you that it will hurt accuracy must be a benchrest shooter. I shoot a semi 7.62 AR and it flat out shoots. But then again, it has never been shot...

    RCBS hand primer

Many years ago my dad had the Lee priming tool. I swear he wore out 3 or 4 of them things. So when it was time for me to by my own kit, I spent the money on a stainless Sinclair unit. I have one for all the .308 based rounds, and one for the .223 based rounds that I shoot. Very well made, and a...

    Case trimmer.

I run a Wilson without the mic, and added the power adapter. I use my drill set to a low RPM and works very well. I can trim 100 308's pretty fast. When I use my Small Based Redding resizer for my semiauto brass, I have a case holder that I trimmed down a little on the lathe. Not as fast as a...

Thumler's tumbler mods post your pics

Mijp5, At the end of the day, it is not expensive. I have a ton of acrylic short pieces that would be great for the task. I pay 5.34 per sq ft for 3/8" acrylic and use it a bunch, and I'd pay 10.05 a sq ft for Lexan and use it never. I use 3/16" polycarb and it is a little more that double the...

Thumler's tumbler mods post your pics

Guy's, I think that an acrylic lid is a great idea. Wouldn't have to hassle with the gasket! Someone said Lexan or polycarbonate, but it is twice the price for the same thickness as acrylic. I am going to take my red steel lid to the shop tomorrow and make an acrylic one. If it works out like it...
