    AR 15 Mag Issue

I just picked up a few 30 round aluminum AR mags. I live in a ban state so these are preban mags. There are no markings so I don't know who manufactured them. I loaded them to 28 rounds, inserted mag, bolt release, removed mag for press check. When I reinsert the mags are very difficult to...

    Rifle Scopes Shooting with contacts

Re: Shooting with contacts It depends on your eyes, your prescription, pupil size etc. Just make sure you thoroughly research it before you do it. It may not be your best option (laser correction).

    Rifle Scopes Shooting with contacts

Re: Shooting with contacts If you can, try looking through scope with both eyes open & see if that makes any difference. Definitely make sure you are breathing properly as well. Eyes get "starved" of oxygen quickly.

Rifle Scopes Traveling with a USO scope in my carry-on

Re: Traveling with a USO scope in my carry-on I saw that video a few years ago. To this day, every time I deal with the fools at TSA I can't help to hear that song. Belt buckle, money clip..........

Rifle Scopes ***New Premier 3-15x50mm Hunter/Light Tactical***

Re: ***New Premier 3-15x50mm Hunter/Light Tactical*** I love the PH but I don't need my optic to survive a HALO jump or weight 38 ozs. This looks like exactly what I need. Thanks so much for the feedback.

Rifle Scopes ***New Premier 3-15x50mm Hunter/Light Tactical***

Re: ***New Premier 3-15x50mm Hunter/Light Tactical*** Looks good. 2 questions. What height rings did you use? Does the scope seem like it will be durable enough for some field use?

    SBR schooling

Re: SBR schooling I have a 14.5 with pinned FH done by ADCO. It runs great. I highly recommend ADCO. I thought about going the SBR route, but after I researched it a bit I decided against it as it wasn't something I felt was worth the extra paper work & cash. Make sure you know what you...

Gunsmithing PTG one piece bolt question

Re: PTG one piece bolt question I was told by PTG that the bolt was not a drop in. It is a full build. I just have to figure out what stock I am going to use & then it will be off to the smith for the "full Monty".

Gunsmithing PTG one piece bolt question

Re: PTG one piece bolt question If you already have an action, this is great upgrade. If you don't already have an action them save up and go custom. It will be cheaper actually. Believe me, I ran all the numbers......more than once.

Re: PTG one piece bolt question I didn't install extractor or ejector parts. As far as the firing pin assembly it came assembled & I just used my tools from Sinclair. They are great.

Gunsmithing PTG one piece bolt question

Re: PTG one piece bolt question That is what I figured. It fits in the action no problem. Since it was different from my other Remington bolts I was concerned. Thanks for the info.

Gunsmithing PTG one piece bolt question

I just received my one piece bolt from PT&G. Absolutely beautiful. However I was installing the firing pin assembly & I noticed that the flat where the firing pin assembly and the bolt meet (9 o'clock if looking from the rear) don't match up evenly. I didn't know if this was normal since my...
