    Re: thoughts on upgrading TRG I would try out the KRG folder first. The TRG is already sort of front heavy and a heavier contour barrel will definitely make it worse. For a heavy contour barrel like an M40 contour or MTU contour you might need to open up the barrel channel in the TRG stock...

    Re: TRG barrel weight I dont know how much weight it will remove but I do know that the rifle will feel lighter and less front heavy. I have a TRG42 27" bbl and a friend has the TRG22 with the 20" barrel... big difference in handling. Make sure whoever does the cutting puts a nice crown on...
