    Re: 300 win mag primers I used Fed 210 primers in my 300 Win Mag and Reloader 25 for years without a single problem. The coldest weather I've used them in was around 20 degrees.

    I was hoping anyone out there with a 6.5x47 lapua could post velocities they have actually chrono'd themselves. I need this info to help me make educated decisions on my next build. The barrel length, bullet weight and type of powder used to get your velocity would be a big help!

    Re: Barrel profile's and mfg's I've always had excellent results with Shilen barrels. As for taper, I wouldn't go with anything larger than a #7 LV. Barrels heavier than this can make the rifle a pain to transport as well as screw the rifle's balance up.
