    I did a search already for this topic but it didn't turn up the info I need. Basically, I have a 300WSM (custom rifle) with a 1:10 twist barrel. This rifle shoots sub .5 MOA at 100 yards with Sierra 180 MK bullets. The problem is every time I try hunting bullets the groups open up to 1.5-2.0...

    Re: seating bullets out for new brass?? When I fire new brass I typically seat the bullet a few thousanths into the lands and use a reduced charge. This is supposed to help the case fire form in line with the bore.

    300 Winchester Mag Loads

    Re: 300 Winchester Mag Loads 78.0 grains of RX25 behind a 168 Barnes TSX is accurate and deadly out of my 300WM. Same load with 165 Sierra Gameking hollow points has dropped every deer where it stood.
