Re: Data Book organization?
Thanks guys, that'll help a bunch to set my book up. I have a Storm tactical book that I can fill in the sheets as I need them. Thanks again for the info. Oh yeah, what are you using to get you DA?
I have a data book that I'm going to start using. My question is do y'all organize your range sessions by month, temp, baro reading, or just keep it in order of range session and thumb through them to find matching conditions? Thanks for any help.
I ordered a Scorpion today and hope to have it Monday. How many of you guys run one? I've been running one of the original Foxpros for a while. It is the one without remote. I've playing call sequences through it off of my ipod. I hope the scorpion will allow me a bit more control over what I...
A friend of mine has a Savage 110 he's looking to re barrel from a sporter to a varmint contour. Who is our go to guy to buy a barrel from? If this goes as smooth as I think it is, I may have to rethink the Savage vs Remington battle I have in my head. lol Thanks.
Re: Someone explain BC's to me.. Im Lost

Went there in 06. Was my only trip to Alaska and I fell in love with the country. We rented a float plane and flew out off of Lake Hood. We were there the 3rd week in August. The Sockeye had already made their run but...
Re: Shooting from the crook between door and car
I have shot several coyotes from that position. I also like resting the rifle on the side mirror of the truck and rear support arm braced by the steering wheel.
Re: AWFUL groups with Winchester premium silver tips
The ONLY rifle I have had to shoot any of the WIN silver tips was a Browning .243 micro medallion. It shot 1" and better at 100 hundred yards. Every other rifle I've tried them in, sprays them. I sold the boxes I had with the little Browning.
Re: 110gr bullet .308 instead of .243?
Thanks every one for the info and help. I ordered some TAP to see how it shoots, then I'll reload me some for the bolt gun or my 10 twist DPMS. Again, thanks.
I've been wanting to get a fast twist .243 built for over a year. I cant' seem to keep my money saved up long enough to get it started. I do have a couple rem 700 .308s and was wandering about running 110 Hornadys through them for coyotes. Do any of you guys "light load" your .308s for coyotes...
Re: ground hunting whitetail
I did it again. I killed a little deer this weekend with my .357 pistol at about 15 steps while sitting on the ground. This ground hunting is looking better all the time. It was only a button buck but, it was my first kill with a pistol.
