    Sako/Tikka anything is usually better than anyone else's factory rifle and not that far from custom. I have had several that were amazing shooters as shipped, and when it was time for a new barrel, we never got the same accuracy standard. Sako knows how to make a barrel.

    Listen you are better off buying the cheapest M700 tupperware stocked rifle you can find if that's what your plans are. Walmart is a good place to make that happen. Don't spend more on "tactical anything". Just buy 1 or 2 Walmart 700s and shoot one and get the other one built.

    Well, kind of. Investment isn't the right word. Insurance is a better one. Schmidt Bender advertisements in hunting magazines use the quote "only a rich man can afford a crappy scope". This is true, buy the best and buy it once.

    I have 2 Sauer 202 rifles, you can't go wrong with them. In fact if you get a 202, 200 or 3000 they all have interchangeable barrels within the same caliber group.

    Spent a lot of time overseas and I always had access to foreign military mail. Honestly a lot of guys overseas get ripped off on the price of American made fiberglass stocks and I don't blame them for building their own mousetrap. Looks like a lot of thought went into your stocks, good job.
