Re: Colorado hunting regs The regs seem to change every year. OTC tags won't include trophy areas for bull and bucks. I thought you could buy an OTC bull tag and also draw for a cow. If you call the office they can give you the most up to date reg. You could as of last year atleast put in...

    Body die

Re: Body die Using the body die only when needed is my routine, usually about the 5th firing. Of course your milege may vary as how often like load, brass quality and type of chamber are some of the obvious variables. When I was loading for a factory rifle there was a noticable accuracy...

    RCBS Chargemaster from Natchez

Re: RCBS Chargemaster from Natchez What I found recently is to make sure you turn off the unit if moving it around or dumping the powder out. Mine freaked out and locked up with G 7 on the screen. When seperated from the dispenser the scale worked fine.

    What is a "dump bag"

Re: What is a "dump bag" The creation of the dump pouches is way better than tosing them down your shirt when moving and especially diving to prone. As I remeber, the 550 cord was for pulling the mags from the LC1 type mag pouches.

    Gaffing

Re: Gaffing When climbing down I don't lock them either. When in working position thats a different story. What you may need to do is get your legs in shape by doing squats or lunges with some reps and weight eventually to build stamina. If you climbed every day this would be no prob. The...

Re: Guy's with an AICS 2.0, cut off your sling loop? Yea your right about modding a stock when the action is bonded to it. Getting the butt to latch again is in the works and shouldn't be a problem. As for the bolt handle, When I can get some time with a buddies TIG welder there will be a...

Guy's with an AICS 2.0, cut off your sling loop?

Re: Guy's with an AICS 2.0, cut off your sling loop? Yous' may consider switching the hinge assembly around so that the hook tab is on the other side. As a side effect the butt will fold to the opposite side providing a flat surface when slung. The assm. is held in by some screws and is...

Suppressors AAC Brakeout for 6.8 with 1/2x28 thread pitch?

Re: AAC Brakeout for 6.8 with 1/2x28 thread pitch? Use some good bits for the hard brake metal. I think 5 HSS got smoked when I did mine. Go slow and use lots of coolant/lube or the metal will get even harder and the next bits won't have a chance. Got an FAL from DSA that uses 1/2-28 on the...
