    Re: Sierra 175gr Match King vs. Hornady 178gr A-Max Mate you hit the nail on the head. The Amax flat out destroys game where the occasional 175SMK just passes right thru. If your smashing into heavy bone they all work, otherwise the Amax will give better results even on soft tissue.

    Re: spotting scopes and iphone cases A decent spotting scope, combined with shoot n c targets should allow you to easily spot hits at 500 yards. I dont know about 1000 yards as that would be dictated by the weather. Anyway, in regards to spotting scope brands... I like the Kowa spotters.

    Re: Doubting round robin part of OCW The round robin aspect is actually beneficial tothe testing. It allows you to do the test in a fast manner whilst conditions remain similar. 5 minute cool downs are not the most efficient and do not take barrel heat into consideration, in fact it avoids it.
