    KRG Bravo vs. MC3 Legend vs. Magpul Hunter

    The Bravo is the best option at the $350 price point, but for the most part you get what you pay for. Only the backbone is aluminum. Almost everything else is polymer. Add a spigot and a W3 forend and you're getting close to Manners prices.

    How bad is it, really?

    The new Ruger Precision Rifle in 338 has killed the resale price on those Remington rifles. Not that there was a huge demand for them to begin with, but the RPR is certainly the better buy today. The XCR is basically a stainless 5R in a different caliber for twice the price.

    McMillian A6 and Magpul DBM = crap! #%~ Help and Advice please!

    Order the correct DBM. I've seen PTG M5 DBM for less than $150. The Magpul DBM makes sense for retrofitting cheap BDL stocks, not an $800 McMillian with a M5 inlet.

    Proof Research factory spun pre-fits

    FYI Proof has recently announced that they are doing shouldered prefit barrels for the Bighorn actions. I've yet to see them listed anywhere though.
