    TT or SSA-E trigger Opinion

You might not like the almost non existent first stage on the TT. That was the only thing I didn't care for. I like the distinct 2 stage SSA-E much better. Other than that the TT trigger is real nice.

Bulletproof rifle scopes and are newer versions more robust than old?

I agree with the above especially with the NF NXS recommendation.

    The best AR trigger?

Don't count out the Trigger Tech. The first stage is virally non existent. I use mine as a great single stage trigger. Adjustable 2-5 lbs vitally no creep and brass like thin glass. Plus it's a snap to put in. Below is a YouTube Review. link.

    springfield armory BM59

A number of Garands were converted to BM 59's before SA in Geneseo started impotrting them in the late 80'sor early 90's. I owned 2 of them (now long gone) the Alpine and standard versions which have different magazines than the M14/M1A's. Still have an original BM59 mag somewhere.

    TT or SSA-E trigger Opinion

Thanks guys all the pro's and con's mentioned mirror my feelings about the TT Trigger. But I think I'm leaning back towards the SSA-E for my next trigger. The only thing that's keeping me undecided is the Geissele hammer (iv'e installed over a dozen) is such a PIA to install and the TT is a...

I'm looming into my first SASS rifle.

Just a thought, A friend of mine has a DPMS SASS (not for sale) that's really nice. In fact it shoots even better than my Armalite SASS, He has never had a single problem with it. About the same weight as my Armalite SASS. Folks this site might be able to post additional comments on the DPMS...

    POF .308 Feeding Issue (Long)

This may be apples and oranges but I've been using 1st and 2nd GEN 20 round Pmags in my 2010 built P-308 and never had a single feeding issue. Perhaps the Gen 3 warning only applies to newer 308 POF's.

POF and my Incredibly Disappointing Experience......

I replaced the POF drop in trigger with a Geissele SSA-E in my 415 POF without a problem a few years ago. I just replied my POF 308 with a Trigger Tech 2-5 pound adjustable trigger which is a drop in trigger. Simple to install. I like it even more the the SSA-E which I have in 10 other AR's. The...

That is correct 0.154 unless you have a RR National Match trigger which my Elite Comp has. Then the pin sizes are 0.156 which is what I have on my Elite Comp according to RR Customer Service.:(

    Bad LMT Barrel

I have a 556 LMT CQB that shoots well. Usually well under 1 moa. But not my LMT MWS CL 16" that I bought when they first came out. 5 shoot 100 yards with168 grain FGMM or my 168 grain SMK hand loads that shoots well in my early LaRue OBR or AIAW. Best I could get was 1.5-2 moa. Have a Nightforce...

    Recent Experience with LaRue Barrels

Follow link by clicking on the photo to 5 shot 100 yard target using PredatOBR. Bought it 2 years ago. targets 2,3,5 and 6 are the Predat targets. Not bad for a new Larue with my hand loads. If I did my math correctly avg for 4 groups = 0.57" And I am not a LaRue fan boy. I'm a Noveske guy.
