Get 'em while you can boys

I hope you are right. Something tells me this may have more of a chance to screw us than normal. With republicans controlling everything i feel people on our side of the argument will just go about thier lives without putting in the political effort. Meanwhile the other side is pressuring them...

Suppressors Anyone still use reflex suppressors, Allen Engineering AE30

Buddy i shoot with has an AEM5 on a Mk12 Mod1 clone. The thing sounds amazing and has little back blast concidering it has a standard gas block and rifle buffer. Repeatability is excellent as well at the customer service. He had a small baffle strike and Ron fixed it for free with quick...

Time for a new bolt? Primer failure

I'm still using the bolt, it's affected nothing so far and I have no plans to send it in.

Time for a new bolt? Primer failure

I had the same thing happen and guess what; Winchester primer. It was on a pretty light load too. Pitted the face of my AI bolt and I was not happy. From now on its Federal or bust. Pun intended

Switching from 140 amax to 140 eldm?

Personally I’d work up a new load. It really doesn’t take long and it helps get the most out of it. Using Rob’s advice i had mine seated .020” off the lands and it shot so well I didn’t mess with it.

    Accuracy International Picture Thread

If you're talking about the small point on the very bottom of the butt pad i just cut mine off using my buck knife. I actually did it when i was in the deer stand a few years back. I got so fed up with it catching on everything i just took the last 1/4” off or so. It looks kinda crude up close...

Rifle Scopes Exciting scopes coming from Bushnell the ERS & XRS Gen II

Read the whole thread didn’t see this mentioned. Did they retain the same setscrew-less zero they had on the ERS and XRS. I run an switch barrel rifle and being able to rezero the turret that easy is a big deal. On a side not I have an ERS and absolutely love it. This new XRS seems to adress...

First build. Looking for input / help.

If you like a two stage and are used to running them, go with the two stage. Nothing wrong with either, just personal preference.

    The Evolution of Barrel Cleaning

Thanks for the quick reply Orkan. Looks like I may need to add a bore scope to the tool box.

    The Evolution of Barrel Cleaning

Bringing back a bit of an old thread/ article but I have a lingering question and after reading the whole thread I still didn't find the answer. For those of us without bore scopes how do we know when the carbon ring has been sufficiently removed? Any tips or advice would be appreciated. If...

    Suppressed 6.5CM barrel length

I don't think two inches on a rifle that long wouldn't make much of a difference. Like others have said if you want to keep it short for hunting, really go short. So long as you get the ballistics you need. I could pull off using my 24" 6.5 AIAT with a 7" suppressor for hunting from a box stand...

Weight of Ai at with 16" barrel?

Yea lightweight and AI are typically not found together. My primary setup is my AT with a 24" heavy Palma 6.5 Creed barrel, ultra 7 suppressor, atlas bipod with spigot mount and a Bushnell ERS. This comes in at 18.25 pounds or so. They mass of the action sets the weight farther back and makes...

Weight of Ai at with 16" barrel?

My 20” AT with ARC rings and Bushnell ERS with no bipod is around 15.5 pounds. I’d figure a sold half pound lighter by removing another 4 inches.

    Accuracy International Picture Thread

I believe it is a form of nitro carbonization although don’t hold me to it. The color may wear but i doubt the benefits of the coating go away.

    Accuracy International AT question

Something tells me the screw hole loactions for the rail sections that bolt onto the side of the AT foreend might cause problems. The AT skins put the finger groove cutouts in the center while the older skins have them higher up on the fore end.

Accuracy international AT chassis play in stock

My AIAT has a rock solid hinge. Zero play no matter what position it is in. I'd call and see what's normal and if it's not how can it be taken care of.

    Messed Up 223 Trainer Build

Personal experience here: My 223 Tikka had the factory 1/8 lightweight barrel and the thing shot phenomenaly. easily sub moa with factory fiocchi 50gr amaxs. Even if it was too hot to touch it still hammered without a noticeable problem. It took a stupid amout of shooting (think endless prairie...

Suppressors Clear suppressor with high speed camera vid

Was Just going to post this! He has a pretty cool channel and does a fair bit with guns. Some of the baffle designs are a little....different, I'd be curios to see some more conventional designs with see through walls. On a slightly political side not it has 135K views in under 4 hours and it...

Suppressors Shot My Tab Gear Suppressor Cover

I use a Rifles Only HAD and have zero issues. The strap around the back of the can stops it from sliding and it allows me to keep the cover loose enough for easy removal. Honestly I couldn't ask of a better cover, the thing has been extremely hot and it didn't even phase it.
