    Re: Best muzzle device for ar-10 I just put a 12 port tunable break on an ar-10 made by AR Performance. I like it better than the PWS fsc 30 which I have used as well. It has less recoil and more muzzle control. The thing shoots like a .223 or better. I have yet to play with the tunable ports...

    Re: Crickett target model *custom* Well thought out. Would make a handy packable "critter gitter" for a backpacking trip. It would also make a great squirrel/rabbit hunting rig. That barrel length would be handy toting through thick brush.

    Re: Electronic hearing protection I have a pair of peltor 6s that have a tendency to turn off and on without my realizing it. The knobs get bumped and then i get a dead battery. When they are working they work well though.

    Re: grouping question You should shoot NRA highpower. A GREAT offhand shooter will keep 10 shots in the 10 ring (7" at 200 yds) with iron sights. If you can consistently shoot 3" at 100 you would be in that catagory. Very nice.

    Re: First time shooting irons I have the same upper and use it in service rifle competition. Most guys use that same load only with 24.0 gr RL-15. Nice groups though. My RR upper shoots most anything well. Best out ofthe box service rifle upper out there. What is with the PRS Stock though?
