Re: 300 win mag pics Hi Guys , I lkie the Badger M2008 actions , they are very nice , the fit of the bolt in the raceway is very close fit , as such , I would not get the bolt body painted ( blued yes ) , as its then too tight to operate , if that makes senes . I live out side the US , in...

    Badger M2008 and AICS dilemma...

Re: Badger M2008 and AICS dilemma... Do what you originally intended to do , get over the whole 338 CIP mag , as its only about 2mm longer , I expected it to have a lot more room than it actually does . You can still run 300gr but realise the bullet will be setted a bit deeper than the 250gr...

Rifle Scopes Why MIL/MIL not MOA/MOA?

Re: Why MIL/MIL not MOA/MOA? Get over it , to me its about the courseness or finess of the adjustment ( and the type of knobs that I prefer , ie single & DT indicated ) , and fitting that to your purpose . Either will work . The common 0.1 mil adjustments would maybe be too big / course...

Narrowing affordable choices on a 338 bolt rifle

Re: Narrowing affordable choices on a 338 bolt rifle YES , providing it is a TRG-22 or 42 , then the rear stock is easy to remove by loosening two bolts . On the older 21/41 models one of these takedown bolts is obscured by the trigger mech , so on the older models , the trigger mech ( only...
