Rifle Scopes Bobro Mount Pinching Tube???

What scope? Is your torque wrench calibrated and set correctly? Not trying to be insulting, just starting down the list. I had a hunting Kahles scope once that with Warne rings properly set, the power ring could not be turned. It was just a thin scope with no clearances.

Rifle Scopes Nightforce new product development

Well, now that NF has the Beast and the 2.5-10 X 42 out there, I think they need to get after releasing a 1-6 or 1-8. NF, FYI, I am not above begging......

How about NRA membership necessary for the Hide?

Re: How about NRA membership necessary for the Hide? Today semi-autos, tomorrow bolt guns, excuse me, sniper rifles...... There is strength in numbers. We all need to be part of one or more groups. Did anyone notice how fast and hard gun control has been pushed? They won't rest.

Rifle Scopes Zeiss Conquest disappointment and question

Re: Zeiss Conquest disappointment and question As far as "good" scopes go, the Conquest is really cheap. In addition to the optical qualities, they also have a good reputation for recoil tolerance.

Rifle Scopes Zeiss Conquest disappointment and question

Re: Zeiss Conquest disappointment and question No mistake, just reticle specific product variations. The ranging reticles are different than the standard plex reticles. You zero the main bar on the Z600 at 200 and then adjust power to match your ballistics.

Rifle Scopes Zeiss Conquest disappointment and question

Re: Zeiss Conquest disappointment and question My 3.5-10 X 44mm Z600 has the parallax setting printed in while lettering on the ocular lens housing and states "300 yds"

Rifle Scopes Zeiss Conquest disappointment and question

Re: Zeiss Conquest disappointment and question Ps. IMO the Conquests are an incredible value. I did a comparison a number of years ago where I sat two rifles up looking at a hillside 200 yards away just before dusk. One rifle had a Zeiss Conquest 3.5-10X50 and the other a Kahles 2.5-10X50...

Rifle Scopes Zeiss Conquest disappointment and question

Re: Zeiss Conquest disappointment and question Fixed power scopes have fewer lenses typically, which can be an advantage. The main problem with your test I believe is that the Z800 (and Z600, etc.) is optimized for longer range shooting and has the parallax set at 300 yds, not 100 as the...

    Loading for a semiauto .308

Re: Loading for a semiauto .308 Thanks. I have been shooting both Varget reloads and Southwest ammo in this and the Southwest ammo burns so much cleaner it is clear they are using a different powder.

    Cordless drill

After 21 years of really good service, I have come to the conclusion it is time to replace my Dewalt cordless drill/driver. What is the best one out there from a reliability, power and battery life standpoint? Thanks
