New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Earlier in the year Steiner showed their locking turret version of the M5Xi developed for the German SF G29 contract. having used a M5Xi pretty extensively I was keen on giving the new model a try so I got in touch with my friends down at Beretta Australia straight away and got them to get one...
For those that haven't seen already Sako are doing a numbered limited edition TRG 22 with only 100 being manufactured and Sako keeping some for themselves for charity auctions etc, so not even all 100 will end up for sale.
From what i've been told it comes with a bunch of extras including the...
We've got 4 of them between us. overall not a bad tripod. Not as stable as my Fiesol but it's more compact. One has had the glue holding part of the lower centre column to the screw attachment come loose but it was a easy fix. My main issue with it is the clamp on the ball head isn't an Arca...
I was recently sent both a T5Xi and a M5Xi by Beretta Australia to test. The T5Xi is good for the price but the M5Xi has significantly better glass. I've had the M5Xi side by side with S&B etc and it's right there with them. They definitely don't use the same glass. As to if the increase in...
Yep the early T5Xi had issues but I got sent one of the later ones with the new turrets to test and it worked perfectly. I also have a couple of the M5Xi 5-25 and they're solid as a rock. Sucks if you're having an Issue though and hopefully it gets taken care of.
Well I know most of the hype is over the 2400 ABS but I have been quietly interested in the 2200.
Just arrived today........
Don't expect it to perform like my Terrapin has but it's compact and if it can range everything I aim it at inside 1200m i'll be pretty happy. Will post more once...
As already mentioned as a pure hunting rifle I think they're quite nice, I'm actually planning on picking one up in 300wm. I like having a flush mount yet removable mag and the fact that it's already cerakoted from the factory is nice. My buddy has a regular X-Bolt in 7-08 and it's easily sub...
I wouldn't say a custom would be as reliable as an AI, as accurate? sure.....maybe even more accurate but AI has customs beat for reliability hands down. The other thing to think of is that with a custom all the parts are made by different companies so supply extra might become and issue. A...
Agreed it doesn't make a great deal of difference, i've also heard of some marked "tactical" whilst my 4-16x50 is marked "military" in the end it's just superficial markings on the exact same scope. My Steiner is a solid scope that is holding up well so far, so hopefully this incident is just a...
I bought one of the 4-16x50 Steiner's on for the discounted price from EuroOptic too. I mounted it on my AIAE MKII (.308) and have had zero issues with mine perhaps there was a bad batch of 3-12x56's??? either way i'd give Steiner the opportunity to rectify the issue. If they don't fix the scope...
This from the same guy that was hanging crap on Okran and TT in the TT525P thread......
As has already been stated you're choice of Mil or MOA reticle/adjustments is almost purely personal preference as they are both angular not linear units of measurement. If you're only looking to...
LawnMM doesn't work for B&T he's just been kind enough to compile the list of people in this thread that were saying they wanted one to make it easier to Kasey to keep track. I would suggest waiting a couple of days after you sent the email and if you still get no reply then try sending another...
Check out further specifics in the TX5i thread here http://www.snipershide.com/shooting/snipers-hide-rifle-scopes/253102-new-steiner-t5xi-tactical-rifle-scopes.html
But yes there is a 5-25 and they will be MUCH cheaper estimated around $1999 because as mentioned above they are made in the USA...
