    Re: Setting head space on an AR pointless? It shouldn't but apparently it does. I guess that's the difference in a bolt gun and a auto loader. I checked 20+ pieces of 1x fired brass to obtain my headspace measurement. And used the Hornady lnl gauge.

    Re: Berger VLD-Lapua Scenar in a 308 FN SPR Living in Michigan, I would opt for a 11.25 or faster for 185s. But check the killer stability formula for best results. Worse case, just go shoot them and see for yourself to be sure. Are the 185s a necessity? Why not 175s?

    I'm loading for a new noveske 18" spr rifle with 77smk. Ive tried a little Tac and Varget. No luck yet. I know it shoots cause I got a .4" group with Hornady 55TAP. Anybody have a go to load with their Noveske chambers?

    Re: Noveske upper to lower fit Awesome info. In the past Ive found the lmt MRPs with doublestar and bushmaster stuff be a near custom fit while spikes lowers were a rattle trap with MRPs. My stags fit were perfect too. I guess it is a crap shoot.

    Re: Whats the most accurate 5.56 barrel for a 18" SPR I was set on a Ranier Ultra, but I've decided to go with a complete noveske upper with a switchblock. From the looks of things there are a lot of good barrels to choose from. Hopefully the Noveske will be good enough.
