    Hornady 6mm ARC.

I had been following your MDR adventures a while back. Has this proven to be the most accurate cartridge in your MDR?

    But...but... 277 Fury! 😬

    6.5 PRC load data

I meant 55.2. Misread the chart

    6.5 PRC load data

56.2 looks to be a potentially forgiving velocity node.

Nice stick! I’d be curious how your brass holds up. I was getting split necks from my hornady brass at those levels after about 4-5 firings. Sometimes as early as 2-3.

    Hornady 6mm ARC.

After that bath in CLR did everything simply wipe down to bare metal?

Rifle Scopes Best savage 20 MOA SA rail?

The factory “T” models utilize an EGW 20MOA rail. As long as you’re not using a very heavy scope you should be fine. My Razor G2 necessitated going with the Seekins with a recoil lug.

    New Sig CROSS

Word on the street is that the Fury version is delayed until November, with .308 on shelves now and 6.5CM imminent

    New Sig CROSS

Likely won’t know that until November

    Hornady 6mm ARC.

Thanks for taking the time to share the data and your experiences. Until others start loading for their own 6ARC barrels and seeing much slower velocities then I just don’t see the reason to call yours an outlier. I think the most outlying factors are that you are running a 28” barrel in a...

Rifle Scopes Best savage 20 MOA SA rail?

Nope. Seekins has a recoil lug which has made a difference for me on heavy scopes.

Sorry to hear that. Will be interested to see how the mfg handles this from a CS perspective.

I've seen velcro referenced a couple times--what's that about?

    6.5 PRC load data

Haha—I’m oh-fer-two on that post. I love the fact that American diesel and Toyota 2JZGTE both get to 1k WHP with inline sixes, but in very different ways and styles. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming on 6.5 PRC...

Congrats—I hear those APRs will hammer.

    6.5 PRC load data

You’ve got hope yet. Mine (PVA, not Ruger) took 200 rounds to level off.

Proof carbon or Tikka? For sure very few of us will hit the velocity lottery like our BMW/Supra/Datsun? friend has.

    6.5 PRC load data

That barrel is a keeper for sure. My 25” PVA 8-twist 5R is getting about 2930 FPS with factory 147s.

    6.5 PRC load data

Interesting—if I keep velocities <3000 FPS (25” barrel) I am getting 6+ reloads from Hornady brass with decent primer pocket tension remaining and only the occasional split neck. Factory 147 is running 3080 out of your barrel?! That is the fastest barrel I have heard of.

@Inline6power Are you not getting split necks at those velocities from Hornady brass? After 3-4 firings at those speeds using H1000 I am getting split necks.
