New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Damn, I was afraid of that. Being that it costs about the same as a rattly MOE stock I didn't figure it would have any type of tensioning device installed.
Last summer I bout a barrel from B King Firearms that has been surprisingly accurate for the amount of money I paid for it. Even comes with a pinned gas block.
Looks like he is blowing them out again...
I'm pretty sure a scope base for a commercial Mauser 98 will fit it. EGW makes a scope base and so does Near manufacturing. With a picatinny base you can get yourself a set of modern style rings and install whatever scope you please...
Thread about it on m4carbine.net.

Something tells me that isn't a roll pin. It's just a hole and what you are seeing is the pivot pin spring. Almost, if not all AR lower receivers have that hole. I think its original purpose is a drain hole.
That's what it looks like to me. I don't have a Solus yet but I'm eyeing them.
Here is the original thread from where I found that picture:

He actually had some a few weeks ago but they go quick.
