    Duracoat is pretty thick comparatively speaking. If it’s under the rings and or on the rings I could see how you could be pinching the scope tube in a manner or torque spec that it was not designed for. This could be affecting the turret housing / erector assembly.

What I think will be a side effect of larger tubes will be larger internal components and that might make them easier/cheaper to machine and hopefully slide the price to performance...

    Interesting note... Mauser says that this barrel is pressed in however the the front rail screw shows that the barrel is threaded? If that’s the case anyone know a smith crazy enough to rebarrel this for me?
