    Velocity, rigidity, weight. The would prefer to have my barrel as short as possible (rigidity) with enough velocity at the muzzle to be in the game at 800m (F-class). My primary choice is 26", but there are people who try to talk me into 29".

    A buddy of mine shooting F-class tries to talk me into 28" barrel in 6mmBR. It's so long. I was thinking rather 26". My maximum range will be 800m. I would happily avoid the 28" cannon.

    @47guy this was my primary choice. I am focusing on Lapua Scenars and Bergers, I think 150 VV would be my first choice because it should give me little bit more speed than N140.

    You are perfectly right. It's difficult to combat the TRG fixation. I liked the TRG 10 years ago (although I hated the 308), but with more options available on the market right now... Of course many people would still prefer TRG, nothing wrong with that.

    @308pirate For 300m+ applications I will use 6.5 CM. I am looking for consistent 0,5 moa or better 10-shot groups at 300m. I hope it will be easier to deliver this with 6BR than with 6.5CM.
