    I wouldn't say it's very bad; it's a 60* degree 3 lug. That's just part of having to recock in 60* instead of 90*.

    I'd loctite the nut after setting initial headspace ; or at least put witness marks on it. You don't have to space it every time.

    What's the most affordable steel solution for past 1500yds? 3/8 mild? 1/4" AR? T100? I know it all depends on what is being shot at but mainly jacketed 6.5 7 30 and 33s with a little bit of solids here and there no 37 or 50 as of yet.

    I haven't heard of a AX chassis, but I haven't been looking. However i I have seen a modified ambi AX chassis that looked ok. I'd run one. I'm not sure who did the work.

    My guess is off center flash hole and or your cases aren't centered in the shell holder. I've had the same thing happen to me out of the blue.
