    6.5 Creed seems like the easy button. Effective on animals at decent ranges, light recoiling, great factory ammo options, good barrel life, and won’t leave you out gunned at a local match.     Recommended Chassis and Barrell for a light hunting rifle

    I’d run the HNT26 with a 20-22” proof prefit. Throw your S&B in a set of Hawkins ultralight rings and you’d have a very light setup. A carbon shell Manners with a mini chassis is also a slick setup if you prefer the feel of a traditional stock, but it won’t be as light as the HNT.

    I’m considering purchasing a Seekins Precision Havak PH2 but I’m concerned about the LOP on the stock. I’m 6’5” and factory stocks are never long enough for me. Will the factory stock accept spacers? Has anyone here added length to their Havak stock?

    Brands/Options for a 13.7” barrel

    SOLGW and Triarc make 13.7 barrels for more of a “combat” application. They are both gassed well and work good with suppressors.
