New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Does anyone that has completed the eforms process and are at “Certified and Awaiting ATF approval” show anything on the ATF’s eforms website? Under “My forms” on the atf eforms website, I show “no saved items found” and “no current alerts”.
I would expect to see something on their website...
That was not the case for me. I did a single shot trust and was able to Certify from my house. I immediately got an email afterwards from ATF that my Eforms submission has changed to Submitted/In Process.
I had a UPS store that wouldn’t ship a rifle scope, because it’s considered a firearm accessory. I went to a different store 5 minutes away and they shipped it no problem.
My experience with the new EFORMS.
I did a single shot trust with Silencershop through my LGS at their kiosk about on 12/11. Got all the trust paperwork signed online electronically through email once Silencershop sent out the forms about 10 days later. At this point we were waiting on the ATF...
Anybody get their V4 but the 3 bumpers for the housing to set on weren’t included? Disappointed I unassembled my V3 and boxed it up only to find out my V4 is missing parts.
Anyone used both packs? What was your preference for PRS? Is the Kifaru with the frame overkill for this application? I won’t be walking very long distances, maybe 400 yards or so at the longest between stages for now, but who knows, it may be further in the future.
Think the slight resistance on Virgin Lapua brass is good enough?
I used a comparator tool and checked the go gauge, no go and Virgin Lapua shoulders
No go = +.006 more than go gauge
go gauge = +.004 more than Lapua brass
No go = 1.2135
Go gauge = 1.2075
Virgin 6br Brass = 1.2035
I have an Impact action with Stuteville chambered 6bra barrel that I just put on. The bolt will not close on a Manson 6bra go gauge. I put a piece of Virgin Lapua 6br brass in and the bolt closes with a bit of resistance. Thoughts?
The locking turrets and the hash marks are the only thing I wish was different on my 5-27. The Nightforce Atacr turrets are much easier to read for me with the bolder hash marks, brighter white and longer lines. I really like the .5 hash mark with the number above it on the Atacr as well.
