New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
The MIL-C didn't do enough for me to switch from MIL-R. However, this new MIL-XT may be worth the upgrade if/when they offer it.
Hopefully NF will chime in on the cost and availability for upragde,
Not that this is the best method but just my opinion and has worked well.
I de-grease the threads and torque to manufacturers specs, then usually put a mark on top of the screw heads with a paint pen or nail polish. Not only will it help keep moisture out but you can use it as a witness mark if...
I'm sure it depends on how busy they are but they shipped mine out within a week. I got them quicker than if I'd ordered something from Midway USA with "free shipping"
You could thread it 1/2-18 and have plenty of shoulder there for a break or can. I did the same with my T3 Lite in .243, threaded 1/2-28 and use with my Omega. Works great.
I know I'm not the first to do this but thought I would share a material I found on Amazon that helps with cheek weld once you throw sweat or moisture into the mix. The other day it was 90+ degrees and 80% humidity and shooting with a hard piece of plastic as a cheek rest was not helping. I was...
My comment wasn't a hack at you or your product, just to clarify. Again.
None of my business but you'd be missing out by leaving the hide over a few silly posts.
Some people can't change a light bulb without checking manufacturers recommended torque specs. ;)
Nothing against Borka though, there's plenty of people out there, even "smiths", who don't know how much to tighten certain screws. While not for me, good on them for making a tool for the ones...
I degrease the threads, both barrel threads and threads in the brake, and then put a drop or two of Rocksett on the barrel before tightening the break. Don't get crazy with the roclsett or torque, it doesn't take much for it to stay put.
Same here. Had mine for close to 3 years now and it's been on all kinds of hunting, precision, semi-auto, and bolt rifles from .223-300WM and still impresses.
Most go from Leupold to Nightforce, not the other way around. I get wanting to trade the 8-32 for something else but I'd not downgrade in overall quality.
That may be your opinion but Tikka rifles have proved themselves to be more than capable of hanging with some custom guns out of the box. With a rebarrel, they give up nothing in terms of accuracy to other actions.
Are the Burris XTR Signature rings an option or does it have to be one piece? Depending on the inserts you use, you can have anything from 0 MOA-40 MOA.
