Gunsmithing $40 to $50 dollar bore scope

Plenty of these on Amazon. Just used a buddys. His was $200 or so. Don’t want to spend that! His had a mirror where you can look at 90 deg. Basically straight at the lands and grooves. Can I assume the cheap ones don’t have this feature? I am not a gun smith. This is just for checking what’s in...

    PULLED TRACER BULLETS/PROJECTILES.

Can you wet tumble in S/S pins? Don’t care if tracer works after reloading..... ONLY CONCERN IS SAFETY. Where I shoot is not a concern.

    Gunsmithing 7.5 x 55 Swiss FIELD OR NO-GO GAUGE

So I did what I’m asking for with. 30-06 fired case measured with a C375 bushing. 2.045” Field gauge measured with a C375 bushing. 2.052” 8mm Mauser fired case with a D400 bushing. 1.860” Field gauge measured with a D400 bushing. 1.864” Explain again why it can’t be done???

    Gunsmithing 7.5 x 55 Swiss FIELD OR NO-GO GAUGE

If any one has one of the above could you measure it using the Hornady Head Space tool with the D400 slieve. Both would even be better! Many thanks.

Any Company suggestions to convert a 1903A3 to a 1903A4 clone

JRA wrote back. They don’t do it. Spoke with Chuck. Got a lot of information. First thing I need to do is get the throat and muzzle measured to see whether it’s worth it with this barrel. If there is life left in this one, I’ll do the conversion and then replace the barrel at a later date.
