New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Very possible this is one of the early Gen 1 rifles. Something on the interior of the upper was not machined to allow the barrels to be removed. I am positive something changed between the PSR submittal and what they ended up selling to the civilian market as far as the barrels go. I have a very...
IanHusaberg I am not, I took those pictures the day I got the Radius before I really had a chance to get behind the gun and look at it. I have since moved it around to find the best spot for me, which is on the left side about mid-way between the bolt and tip of the fore end. If you shoot with...
I shoot the MRAD with a Thunderbeast 338BA (Upgraded to Ultra Core) IanHusaberg TheGerman This is the can I posted to your MRAD thread. Works well on all calibers, amazing how quite it actually is on a 338 as well. This is the only can I run on the MRAD and its switch barrels. The TBAC 338 is...
I have three Armageddon's and have never had an issue with them coming off. I recently however had one melt to the suppressor after one 30rd mag of 3 round bursts. I dropped the empty and loaded the next, fired off two rounds and noticed the front of the gun smoking really bad so I stopped. It...
Unfortunately I have not yet had the chance to zero it and range from the rifle. I work overseas so am not home much, I got the Radius a few days before leaving and only held it and ranged a few items to see how the buttons worked.
When I get back on this next RR I plan to get it all setup and...
Gen 1 Multi-Role Brown, Accu/Atlas Bi & Mono, NXS 5.5-25x56 (Will upgrade to to new ATACR 5-25 or 7-31 F1), NS Rings, SiCo Radius, Thunderbeast 338BA(with Ultra Core Upgrade). 24" Fluted 338LM and 308 17" Heavy barrels currently owned.
Wow logged me right back in using Chrome, didn't clear any history or cache......went back to a private though, the majority of all my posts started after the move to Scout though.
glad to be back
I would really on be using it for 223/5.56 and 300blk. I'll use the 7.62RC for 7.62/.308, 260 and 6.5creed. I have a TBAC 338BA I use for the Lapua and 300WM.

Masked you make a good point, I started thinking maybe I should just just grab the 7.62 mini instead of the 5.56 socom just have two 30cal cans like suggested above.

I just got an email from my dealer telling me that my 7.62 SOCOM came through approved and I could come pick it up..........but I'm back in the sandbox for another 9 months so might as well buy some more and let the clock start ticking again. With the new improvements in time hopefully I could...
SOCOM 7.62 RC on Trust
Submitted 7 Mar 2014
Approved 22 Sep 2014
Filed E-form but was told in June that the system had crashed before my application took but my dealer was still sending in paper forms as well........not sure how it all that works but they got the approved stamp back today 6...
Yes it did(inadvertently called it a split washer up top, I meant the peel washer) but the way it is mounting up is telling me the washer isn't thick enough? Only thing I can figure that's why I asked to see if anyone else ran into the issue and if two washers were needed. Maybe mine was missing...
Got a quick question for the 338BA owners out there that might also be shooting the MRAD. I cannot get the 338BA break to time correctly on the barrel using the split washer that was provided per the instructions. Has anyone had this issue? Did it take more than one washer? I removed the Barrett...
alan98 did you use the flash hider or the break from surefire to mount the can? Did it fit up without a problem? I have the SOCOM can as well and have been pondering buying the DD MK18 upper but was unsure if the can would screw on with the rail that long.
I encountered the same with both of my DPMS's (SASS & LR with the A2), I found that they love the Hornady TAP 168gr. I am going to upgrade to the Geissele as well.
