    Questions about buying online

So I have finally started to get the funds together to start buying parts for my first rifle build. I have found some things in the for sale forums here that I would like but I have never spent a large amount of money online with a private seller. My question is what method do you use to make...

    Vw tdi ??

Everyone's experience will differ but I have owned a TDI Jetta for the last 5 years or so. Mine now has about 170,000 miles on it, it gets driven a lot, and the only work has been regular service, timing belt and a clutch. The radio in it was shit but that was easy to replace. I doubt I will...

Hunting & Fishing ltwt cook stove

Re: ltwt cook stove I'll throw my vote to JetBoil. I like that the cooking pot/cup locks onto the stove no worries about knocking it off and losing your dinner. I've used other systems but have really liked this one.

    Need a little help

Re: Need a little help Thanks Unluckyjohn! I think we are in last place at the moment so I see the grants going to the bigger schools that applied. I appreciate it though. Still trying to drum up some support. You can vote once a day but I'm not gonna twist any arms

    Need a little help

I don't post often since I have more to learn about precisions shooting than I have to offer right now but I was hoping you guys and gals might be able to help me out. I teach 5th grade in WA state and have applied for a technology grant. Our district is very small and a lot of our technology is...

    Just getting back into shooting.

Re: Just getting back into shooting. Thanks for the kind words. Before my break I had a great 25-06 that was a pleasure to shoot. Only ever got to 5-600 yds with it but was great fun. Miss that rifle. This one is a lot of fun at 200 which is the farthest I have stretched it to. The stock...

    Just getting back into shooting.

It has been a long time since I have done any real shooting, at least 10 years. I just picked up a Savage 93 in .17hmr to use a a trainer until I can save some money for a larger caliber. So far the Savage is great, very good out of the box accuracy as most of you know. I have done a few mods to...

Re: help me select the ideal backpacking stove I have tried many MSR and Primus backpacking stoves and have settled on the JetBoil systems. if you are just boiling water the basic one works great. I have used mine at high alt and in sub zero temps and love it. You should give them a look.

My collection of .22LR dress up kits

Re: My collection of .22LR dress up kits I just picked up a Savage 93 in .17 HMR and was wondering about this. I want to put it in either the Tacticool stock or pick up something like an airsoft AICS clone to since the stock it comes with seems pretty short. I would be very interested to see...

    GoreTex Boots or Not?

Re: GoreTex Boots or Not? The EVent is comparable to Gore in price. The price would fluctuate more from the brand name attached to it. The last jacket I bought in it was actually cheaper than most of the Gore jackets around. If you get a chance try it out. I was actually very impressed with...
