    Love watching sight bases and delta rings die by dremel. Why waste a perfectly good gas block that's already drilled and pinned to the barrel when you're not going to see it under the handgaurd? When you can buy a complete upper in that configuration for $240, dremel everything.

    Nice work. If the bottom of the target extended a couple inches lower would it be able to protect the rest of the mechanism better and do away with the need of the front protector plate?

    Sent my first 1911 off to Branden to get a burnt bronze treatment. The pictures don't fully display how perfect this paint job is. He did the frame in bb and all the controls, levers, and safeties in black. Everything went back together great with no issues. Thanks to SPEAK338 for disassembly...

    Stuck savage ejector

    Did it stick out or in? My spring bound/welded itself together leaving the ejector with no spring tension. I was playing on the high side of .260 loads while adjusting OAL and ended up with a stuck ejector. Stupid I know. The pin is a giant pain to get out. Required a brand new punch, bfh...
