    I grabbed a box to play with, used profile 3 on my Flir and hit a coyote with it. I aimed for the shoulder for shits and giggles and was not disappointed. Im not sure if a ground hog has enough mass to even make them expand but its worth a shot.

    Everyone says to not sweat the little things and just get out there and shoot a match. They were not wrong, you guys were really helpful. Best take away was how much I learned and what I can apply to all my shooting.

    Its a 1:7. I was kinda worried about it too but it was worth a shot. It put down a good 3 shot group while I was zeroing at 50.

    Just a update, picked up some Fiocchi 40gr vmax loads. These things are screaming out of a 10.5 barrel. Even shot it at 200 on a 12 plate I could barely see with good effect.

    I assumed OP was looking for something flatter than more energy I was looking at mainly 6mm and under. I have a 6.5 grendel I have shot out to 600 with 123s and it has some drop. Im still waiting to find that federal 90grain load in stock

    It was designed around the 80-90s but he has had really good accuracy out of the 60grs. I am not sure how the speeds compare to it vs 22 nosler. I cant say im too experienced in the area because I rarely see something past 100yards. I use a 14.5 and soon 10.5 5.56

    I would say 204 or 224V would be the hottest options. my friend has a one of the super thin profile faxons 224v that makes the entire gun weigh around 9lbs with scope and 20" barrel. Hornady list 3300fps on the 60gr vmax, so im sure you could do better.

    I use a Primary Arms 1-8x, and I have a Flir PTS233 showing up eventually. Even without a big objective I can see fine with red lights at night.
